“Carson!” Kurt calls, waving over the teen as he breezed through the doors of the Lima Bean. “Over here!”

He stands up quickly to hug his twin, and then ushers him to take a seat before settling back into his own. “So how are you?” he asks.

Carson shrugs and grins. “Pretty good. Got accepted into Northwestern, did you hear?”

Kurt snorts delicately. “Yeah, after you blackmailed practically everyone in your school.” Carson raises an eyebrow at him. “Mom told me,” Kurt explains.

“Ah, well, you know what they say: desperate times call for desperate measures. You got accepted into NYADA?”

Kurt nods, a wide grin spreading over his face. “I guess we’re both gonna make it out alright.”

Carson hums in agreement, and then glances around the shop. “Isn’t your boyfriend supposed to be here?”

“Yeah he’s just grabbing some coffee. There he is.” Kurt inclines his head towards Blaine, who was approaching with two steaming cups of coffee.

“Here is your non-fat mocha- Oh hi, you must be Carson,” Blaine says, setting down Kurt’s cup and sitting down. He and Carson shake hands briefly.

“So you’re Blaine?” Carson asks, leaning back in his seat a bit. “Kurt’s told me a lot about you.”

“Likewise,” Blaine says over his coffee cup. “Did you really-“

“Blackmail my fellow schoolmates to get into the college of my choice? Yes.”

Blaine whistles. “I’d hate to see what you and Kurt could do together.”

The twins share a quick glance together. “You don’t want to know,” they say at the same time.

“Well, if it isn’t my favorite teen superstar and- oh, what do we have here? The Weird Sisters,” an, unfortunately, familiar voice interrupts.

“Seriously?” Kurt says. “What do you do? Wait for us to show up?”

Sebastian ignore the question, stealing a chair from a nearby table and reclining in it, a smirk on his face. “So who’s Thing Two?”

Both Carson and Kurt glare at him while Blaine sips his coffee awkwardly before answering. “This is- ah- Kurt’s twin: Carson.”

“Well isn’t this interesting?”

Kurt rolls his eyes and begins chatting with Blaine, attempting to ignore Sebastian. Carson holds his gaze though, his stare turning scrutinizing. “So you’re the infamous Sebastian,” he muses.

“What about it?” Sebastian’s tone turns defensive.

“Expected more,” Carson comments.

“Hey, I almost threw rock salt in your brother’s eye.”

“But you missed,” Carson points out. “Meanwhile, I blackmailed my entire school.”

Sebastian’s gaze turns slightly respectful. “Touche.” The two of them smile tightly at each other.
